I got a ton of pictures back from my party! I am so happy, you can see the weight loss, so I am glad.I still have a way to go. I'm BAAAAACK!
Hey, It has been a long time. I decided today that I am not as nice as I really want to be. I am really working on it though. I had a wonderful last week, and an even better weekend This week has sucked ass. My grandparents left, my Mom doesnt feel well, I miss the baby, Sarah lied to me and I had to tell her mom on her, my aunt has practically disowned me for not inviting her to my party, a parent got pissed at my assistant, Jeff is having problems, I am tired, I spent too much money on pictures, my house is messy, Xenadrine isn't working, My baaaaack hurts! Yesterday , Jana felt so sorry for me she left a card and beautiful roses on my doorstep telling me everything will be all right. On top of that, I feel like people pretend around me constantly when I know deep down in my heart I am a good friend, and I always have fun and I still feel like everyone stands around and can't wait to get away from me. Jess told me to tell everyone where to go and how to get there. It is more complicated then that though. I have feelings. Obviously, I need to go out and make new friends maybe some who won't make me feel like a fucking charity case, Hey I am a leaf and I am turning over. No more feeling sorry for myself. I am going to do the things I wish I would have done a lot earlier. Such as..... Follow through with my plans to go to Durango and see Tawni Have dinner with Katy and Jana at Red Hot and Blue- Go to the gym and work my ass out! What a day!!!!!!!
Woke up, went straight to Trophy Club to take care of my baby beautiful Bernard Francis. He is the most wonderful baby boy in the world. He loves his Aunt Julie. I came to the hospital Friday bearing very cool gifts. I am now 140 in the whole. Not really, I just can't stop spoiling him, and my sis!!! He is sooooooooooo beautiful!!!!!!! Well, the big gig at Austin is this week, we are staying the night, just me and mom. This is going to be a big step in my career. This playing thing is at this really cool place with lots of really good women texas musicians there. I am soooo nervous. Afterward, my Mom and I are going to paint Austin RED!!! They are putting us in a really nice hotel and we get to hang with celebs. I am reallly nervous!!! This girl Jules is really nice. She didn't even know me and she came to my shower, and is wanting to hook up and play sometime. She plays bass.She is really nice. I invited her to our engagement party next month. I am sooo excited about it. I am really ready to move on with this part of my life and get the wedding taken care of, so I can focus on my career and S)*(! We booked our rehearsal dinner Saturday, it is gonna to be at this really good mexican place. I have the most wonderful guy, he suprised me last week with a 3 day visit to this really cool spa in southlake. I might try to go in a couple of weeks. WHAT A MIRACLE, I AM TOO EMOTIONAL TO DESCRIBE. IT MADE WAITING 16 HOURS AT THE HOSPITAL SOOOOOO WORTH IT! MY POOR SIS, I CAN'T WAIT TO HOLD MY BEAUTIFUL NEPHEW AGAIN! Mmmmm too much pappasitos
Oh man, if i see another chip, I will cry! I have been eating terrible, but will jump back on the bandwagon tonight with my fav lean cuisine! I have a job tomorrow at lunch playing for a lunch that will pay pretty good for one hour. I have gotten a raise at work too. We have gone up on our prices- again. Life is being pretty good to me. Had lunch with my Mom, Jenn, Lyd, and Jeff. It was fun. I can't wait till Bernard is born!!!!!! I just hope it doesn't happen during our job in Austin! I would freak! I am still journaling, I am free Friday if anyone wants to meet up for a coffee or something! I am lonely, but I should just go work out! Time to go be a flylady now! Fun night
I taught a full day starting at 830 and just got home from a cooking class on Mexican Party Appetizers. It was delish!!!!!!! My Mom went so it turned out really special , plus we had all the wine we could drink@@@ Yumm! I feel really good that I am buying new things for myself. Plus I transposed a new Korn song from a 7 string to standard tuning with Drop D. I know it doesn't make sense but hey , I did good! I got my pics with Nickel Creek from Trecia today. She is my new friend/student I met at the concert. She is really nice. Also it Loretta's and Angela's Bdays!!! I have one more appetizer class on Thursday, then none for a month!! It is suprising how one item of mail can totally change you
We had a blast at Six Flags. We ( Loretta, Kenneth, and I) got Jess on the Titan, Batman, Runaway Mountian, and the Shock Wave. I was totally suprised he rode everything. We went to the Olive Garden in Arlington were we ran into Loretta's sister-in-law. Loretta and her SIL do not get along. Watching them tonight made me hurt. It made me see that in laws are not supposed to act this way, and it opened my eyes, a lot. Anyway, I came home from a great day with them and a worried evening for her (bless her heart) to a nice piece of mail from Stepatit. I like mail. I like it when people contact me. Anyway, my German cooking class went great. My family is great, we are great, and oh so tired! I will write more later. I start my cooking classes on Thursday. I am happy! I am very excited about Tuesdays class since angleface will be coming with me~!!!!! Yeah!!! I saw your post and you kicked some shouts out, thanks! Get your chef's hat on baby! anyway, I am still jazzed about Nickel Creek, that was awesome. My grandparents are still here. My Grandma made her famous dressing tonight and I pigged out! What an incredible weekend
Okay Friday night we saw Nickel Creek. There were not that many people there. We had tickets for 14th row and ended up sitting front row!!!! It was awesome. I could see everyones fingers on each chord. I realized I had figured out most of the songs right for my students so I was proud. Anyway, the show was awesome, very intimate. Well, I was already overwhelmed because I have been a huge fan and being so close was awesome. After their second standing ovation they said to come closer they were going to play acoustic. I was the first person up there baby and got right next to them. They said it would mean a lot if we knew the songs if we would sing along so we all sang When you Come Back Down in a big circle. They looked us all in the eye played for us and we all sang. I just wanted to cry. Well... WE ENDED UP HANGING OUT WITH THEM AFTER THE SHOW. I HAVE PICS AND AUTOGRAPHS AND EVERYTHING. EVERYONE LEFT AND WE WENT BACK IN AND THEY WERE THERE AND WE HUNG WITH THEM WITH JUST LIKE 4 OTHER PEOPLE! IT WAS AWESOME! It still hasn't sunken in yet. I made new friends too!! A lot of people recognized me from my mom? It was weird. Sara (the fiddler) asked who was my favorite fiddlers. I told her my Mom was actually and of course her, she thought that was awesome!!!! yeah!!! Oh and my sister's other baby shower was cool! I am home from Austin. I had too much wine. The exibit was great. As soon as you walk in you see my Mom's fiddle. In the same exibit they had the grammy dresses the Dixie Chicks wore , George Strait's saddle (and the outfit he wore in Pure Country), Buddy Holly's guitar, Dale Evans outfit, and a lot of other cool stuff! I am so proud of my Mom!!!! We are going again in October, she will be playing on stage with other women in Texas Music! I am happy, I actually got stared out by the lead singer of this awesome band! He said he would love to hear me play sometime. ( He knows my Mom)I got flirted with! Anyway, he is soooo cute. Oh man, anyway, Jessie would have been sooo jealous! I payed him no mind though, but he was very cute!!!!! I actually feel like I am young again! I feel like I might still "have it" Anyway, I had a wonderful time with my Mom and Grandma! all is well
I woke up this morn, very happy. The day is beautiful. I slept well, and I have a heck of a day today. I am working double and late tonight since I am leaving tomorrow. I think it will be fun. My sis wants me to come to Keller in the morn before the trip and look at this caterer but I am not sure. My sister is better at planning my wedding than I am. She should do this for a living. She is a maniac! She just called again. Well, I talked to some of my friends last night and one called my cell phone this morn so I feel better. A happy yet scary morning
Okay so at 4 in the morn our alarm system went off waking up us and the whole neighborhood. It freaked us out, it has never gone off in the middle of the night before. I woke up thinking there were aliens. I can't stop dreamin' about Signs! Damn that movie!!! Well, I think I found a partner for my cooking class~ SUZIE took me up on it!!! I kept hinting around ya'll! Ya'll are going to be jealous when we can make yummy mexican appetizers and ya'll can't!~ Come on ya'll , there are more spots left hint hint Well, I am thinking about going to try on wedding dresses this morn. I feel better. I am reading a book I got at my church's bookstore. It is helping me. Church really hit the spot on Sunday, as usual! It was about forgiving, which I know I need to hear. I think it is helping me get over all the grudges I seem to keep. Anywho, on another note, I miss my friends! How are ya'll doing??? Anyone want to take an evening cooking class with me in October. pleeease! It last for 3 hours and it is 35 dollars. Wouldn't it be sooo fun, and a good friendship builder because of all the good quality time doing something good for ourselves!! okay, i am reaching far on this one, but I want to do it. I talked to my new friend Squam until sarah came over today. When I got back online, you were gone! Sorry I missed ya! Boy I feel like a wet noodle
Life is much better now! I had an hour massage with Michele today and my body feels so great and relaxed. I am feeling happier than I have been in weeks! I really need a webcam or to talk heyjana into taking her DAMN DIGITAL CAMERA tomorrow to the party at the park. I have been trying to get my hands on that camera for months now= hint hint~ I need a new pic because suz is probably sick of me posting this one. ( plus I was 15 pounds heavier in this pic) anyway, tomorrow morning I will go with my cousin sarah and my assistant Whitney to the Beaumont Ranch to check out some linens and things to rent. I am really excited! I am so happy to make a new friend on lj! Hi squamous! |
